Though Germany was unable to show a convincing performance in this last match of the respective European Championship qualifying round, Switzerland was not competetive at all and was even rather happy just to loose by three goals. Sandra Smisek finished her career by scoring the third goal of the match just before she was substituted at the end of the match.
