Clausthal played out of a strong defense, trying to take advantage of some mistakes of Bremen's defensive play. Clausthal were able to score twice by fast breaks, but Bremen tied. After 34 seconds in Sudden Death-overtime, Clausthal scored and stayed in German Mixed A-Division.
