Especially from the German point of view, this was a very interesting match to look at, as the
Kloten-Bülach squad has two German national players, Katja Timmel and Sandra Dirksen. Unfortunately,
Sandra got injured in the match before at Dietlikon, so that she was just in the Ruebisbach arena in Kloten to
commentate the match for a Swiss internet sports radio network.
The Pirnhas started a bit better and tried to play pressing and make the Jets cause mistakes
in their own side of the ring. They were credited with the 1-0 lead after nine minutes for that, but the Jets got better and better
and were really unlucky not to tie the score or even lead after twenty minutes.
The second period reminded me badly to the match between Rychenberg and Wiler-Ersingen I watched
the day before. Everything the Jets did worked wrong, while their guests scored several strange goals. Twenty minutes later,
the scoreboard showed a 0-8 score. But the Jets never stopped fighting, came back in the match and even
were the better team in third period. Again, they were too bad in shooting and just put the ball in the net
once.
Playing two good periods, the Jets lost this one because of an desasterous second periods. By the way,
German Katja Timmel played a very good match and was even honored to play the first line after twenty minutes.
Like the whole Kloten-Bülach team, she also just was not able to score any of her
several good chances.
