FICEP Games 2006: Czech Republic - Germany (4:0, 0:0, 4:0)

On July, 14th and 15th, 2006, floorball was played for the first time at the FICEP Games in Essen, the international games of catholic sports. The German team, which was strengthened by three Bremen Bundesliga players, was the supposed underdog, as many of the players never saw a large field or a goalie until one week before the tourney.
Thus the Germans showed a really great match out of a solid defense. Especially in second half, when the Czechs did not score a single goal and repeatedly failed to get the ball passed Germany's fantastic goalie Jan Ehmann, Germany was very good compared to their abilities. At the end, Czech's eight goal-win was a good result for both teams.
