With a victory against Finland, Latvia was still able to reach the semis - but of course, the team from Scandinavia was the definite favourite in this match - and they just wanted to show this: they just overpowered Latvia and lead by three after seven minutes. Latvia showed a great fight, but finally, they were just too weak against a strong "Team Suomi". Nevertheless, they were honoured for a stunning fight by scoring the final goal of the game and prevent the Finnish team from scoring a shoot-out.
